Jamaican crew members aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Adventure of the Seas on Thursday begun disembarking the vessel which is docked at the Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier.

Each member is being tested for COVID-19 and processed by immigration officials before being bussed to the Grand Bahia Principle Hotel in St Ann to await their results.

Up to publication time, more than 100 of the 1,044 Jamaicans who arrived on the ship Tuesday had so far been tested and bussed to the hotel.

The Port Authority of Jamaica is managing the exercise which will see groups of 200 persons disembarking the ship every 48 to 72 hours. On Thursday morning, Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of National Security, Matthew Samuda told journalists that the process had been moving smoothly. Watch the video below.
