Barbados Tridents' spinners proved too much for the Jamaica Tallawahs to complete a convincing 36-run victory in the 14th match of the 2020 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) at Queen’s Park Oval, in Trinidad on Wednesday night.

The spinners came good after Kyle Mayers' career-best 85 had laid the platform in the first innings.

Sent in to bat in the day/night contest, Barbados Trident led Mayers posted 148 for seven off their allotted 20 overs, and then restricted Jamaica Tallawahs to 112 for nine.
