Teenager charged with manslaughter after dramatic death of 68-y-o

Investigators from the St Elizabeth Police Division have charged a 19-year-old man in relation to the recent dramatic death of a senior citizen in the parish.

Tim Rowe, otherwise called ‘Keno’, of Pisgah district in the parish, has been charged with manslaughter following the death of 68-year-old Herbert Reid, also of Pisgah district, on Friday, October 16.

Reports are that about 3:15 pm, Rowe and Reid were at a bar when an altercation developed, during which Rowe boxed Reid.

The elderly man fell, hitting his head in the process.

He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Following an investigation, Rowe was arrested by the police and subsequently charged.

Investigations continue into the development.
