Donaldson, the outgoing CEO of Sagicor Investments, oversaw the introduction of two listed funds that tracked the performance of various indexes on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
The first fund tracked the performance of financial companies and raised $6.3 billion in a fund called Sagicor Select Funds Financial.
Then in December, it raised $2.5 billion to list a fund that tracked the manufacturing and distribution index called Sagicor Select Funds Manufacturing and Distribution.
These funds known as ETF in the US market are commonplace but not done before 2019.
