Saturday Spirits: Loop-y Way, the quarantini special
Another Saturday, another reason to sip and savour that cocktail you just made. How? You ask... with one of our recipes, of course.
Though In The Loop is temporarily offseason, the Academy of Bartending, Spirits & Wines’ mixologist Andrew Weir has whipped up a creamy cocktail (aka quarantini) he calls the Loop-y Way.
Regulars at Russell’s T-20 Restaurant and Sports Bar have become quite familiar with Weir’s innovative mixes like this one…
Now, we know there may be items on the ingredients list that may not readily available to you, in this instance you either improvise or add them to your grocery list and place an order.

Ingredients you’ll need…
2 oz Wray & Nephew Rum Cream
1/2 oz Banana liqueur
4 oz Ice cream mix
1/4 oz chocolate syrup
Sprinkle of French Vanilla powder
Handful of Fruit Loop cereal
Add ingredients to a shaker or mixing glass
Shake vigorously then pour into a cocktail glass
Top with whipped cream
Sprinkle Fruit Loops to garnish
