One of eight stolen goats which were found in a bus that a police team intercepted in Yallahs, St Thomas on Tuesday, September 15.

Two suspected goat thieves were nabbed with eight goats at Catholic Lane in Yallahs, St Thomas on Tuesday, September 15.

Reports are that about 1:40 pm, a police team was following investigative leads when they intercepted a motor bus along the roadway.

It is reported that a man ran from the vehicle on the approach of the police, while two other men, both natives of St Thomas, were held.

Members of the police team searched the motor bus and found eight goats inside.

The men who were arrested remain in police custody as the search for the other suspect continues.

The Yallahs police are urging residents who had their goats stolen recently, to contact them at 876-982-5075 or the Morant Bay police at 876-982-1027.
