Paymaster again partners with ‘JATogetherWeStand’ telethon
The first ‘JATogetherWeStand’ online fundraising telethon was a success, but the fight against COVID-19 is not over. Paymaster, a leading multi-transaction payment agency, has partnered once again with the event organisers to help get closer to the original target of US$100 million during the second online concert this Monday, May 25 at 5-7pm.
The proceeds are to go toward helping the Ministry of Health and Wellness to fight the spread of the deadly COVID-19 disease.
During the first effort in April 12, $60 million was raised. All the funds were destined to purchasing personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare and frontline workers, in addition to testing kits, additional equipment and treatment, as well as to provide assistance and support to dislocated Jamaican contract workers in the United States of America.
The second fundraising event will have the same purposes.
Paymaster has created a dedicated web page to facilitate easy, convenient and secure online donations on Monday, May 25. Donations will be accepted via Mastercard, Visa and Keycard on https://my.paymaster-online.com/donations
Donors will have assistance with their donation by calling 876-960-9632-5/888-PAY-BILL (888-729-2455) or 876-619-5638.
The event, which is being staged by the Jamaican Diaspora-led JATogetherWeStand Global Alliance, is to involve performances by Ziggy Marley, Shaggy, Buju Banton, Sean Paul and more entertainers.
The online concert is to be aired from 5pm – 7pm on May 25 on Jamaican television, 1 Spot Media, PBC Jamaica and youtube.com/vprecords,
