Lasco Financial offers enhanced digital service during COVID-19

Lasco Financial Services Limited (LFSL) through its consumer-facing brand Lasco Money; has moved to an enhanced digital service offering to stem the disruption to customers’ financial affairs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company has refined its remittance services to include a ‘contactless’ or digital option for all customers receiving MoneyGram or Ria money transfers.

“Lasco Financial Services has always operated within a framework of ‘caring’ for our people and the communities that we serve. At this critical juncture, we are committed to providing our clients the financial access, guidance and support needed to maintain their financial affairs,” said Danielle Harris-Drysdale, marketing manager at Lasco Financial Services Limited.

“We will continue to refine our service offerings in this rapidly-evolving situation to meet the demands of the banked and marginally banked.”

By registering online at www.Lascojamaica.com/financial, text or WhatsApp 876-390-5452 remittance customers can opt to ‘Skip Di Line’, and receive subsequent money transfers from family and friends directly to their bank accounts or Lasco PAY Prepaid Mastercard.

The process is simple, complete the registration form online and submit, then provide government-issued Identification, TRN and a proof of address to lfsl_remittance@Lascoja.com for verification. Customers who choose the WhatsApp option, they will complete a digitised version of the form and submit along with ID, TRN and a proof of address to 876-390-5452.  Customers are invited to call 876-906-7473 for more information.

Lasco Cambio users can continue servicing their foreign exchange needs by using the Lasco Money Red Hills Road Drive-Thru Cambio.

Lasco Financial Services wishes to encourage Lasco PAY cardholders to continue utilising their cards to purchase goods, top-up mobile phones and pay for bills online.

 Adjusted Hours of Operation

The teams at the three Lasco Money Stores are available to serve customers during the new opening hours of 8 am to 2.30 pm Mondays to Fridays, and 9 am to 2.30 pm on Saturdays. The opening hours of all the other agent locations may vary.

As part of the national effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus and in keeping with the recommendation from the Ministry of Health and Wellness, the following are some of the measures Lasco Financial Services is taking to ensure a safe experience:

 

  1. The installation of hand sanitizing stations in restrooms and public areas
  2.   Frequent sanitizing when cleaning all surfaces at the facilties
  3. Ongoing staff training in proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques
