Jamaican dollar depreciates further

The Jamaican dollar continued to slide to new lows on Thursday.

The dollar depreciated by 34 cents against the United States dollar according to the summary issued by the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ).

The dollar passed the $150 mark for the first time this week and continued to new lows.

The US dollar closed at $150.36 from $150.02 on the previous trading day.

The British Pound Sterling closed at $195.13 from $196.11, while the Canadian dollar closed at $114.41 from $113.97.
