Jamaica Energy Partners host summer camp for Old Harbour Bay teens

From August 17 to 21, 2020, Jamaica Energy Partners positively impacted the lives of 26 teenagers from Old Harbour Bay through its first-ever Summer Day Camp. The camp, coined by the company’s CSR team, sought to empower the boys and girls, ages 10-16 years old, and expose them to real-life, fun and educational experiences.

Activities included daily devotion, reflections and gratitude; motivational/ power talks by members of the JEP Group, Forestry Department, Caribbean Broilers; environmental preservation lessons; techniques on speech delivery by JCDC; art and craft sessions; dance/music classes and vision board activities by members of the Jamaica Energy Partners Group.

The company’s PR specialist also delivered a presentation on how to safeguard their identity/profiles while online/on social media, and the teenagers received giveaways of fitness trackers, branded water bottles and notebooks.

The summer camp concluded with a fashion show and a trip to Holywell Recreational Park.
