Radio personality, Khadine ‘Miss Kitty’ Hylton, is proving that she is more than just talk.

The Fluffy Diva is embarking on her third annual blood drive in the Corporate Area, and is hoping to top the numbers of donors she garnered in each of the two previous campaigns.

That is keeping in line with the 220 she secured last year, which was an improvement on the 170 she managed to attract in 2017.

The campaign has drawn critical attention to the need for blood donation island-wide, which is crucial to the health sector in assisting patients who need to undergo surgery or require blood transfusion otherwise.

“It’s about each and every one of us coming together to do what we can, working together for the benefit of each other,” said Miss Kitty.

Having recognised a national dilemma in the growing need for blood donation, which remains on the forefront of concerns in the health sector, the popular talk show host, master of ceremony and now trained attorney has mandated herself to remain steadfast in assisting the process.

“This is my civic duty to society. I only require an hour of your time to do some good. This is the perfect opportunity to show that as corporate citizens, we are willing to take the lead to ensure that the Blood Bank’s coffers are never left empty,” she said.

Miss Kitty’s Blood Drive will be held at Mandela Park in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew on Friday, July 5, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
