Hardware and Lumber temporarily closes two stores for deep-cleaning

Hardware and Lumber wishes to advise that its H&L Rapid True Value Portmore and  H&L Agro Brown’s Town stores will be closed on Thursday, September 17 for additional deep cleaning and sanitizing following the confirmation of one COVID-19 case at each location.

Both stores will reopen on Friday, September 18.

"Our COVID-9 protocols are of the highest standards, and each store is subject to a rigorous schedule of cleaning and sanitizing using the very best available technology,"  the company said in a press release.

Hardware and Lumber said the closure of the stores is part of standard protocols as it consistently works to provide a safe environment for customers.

"We will continue to follow the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Wellness," the store said.

All other H&L Rapid True Value and H&L Agro locations remain open, and customers may also order online for delivery or curbside pickup
