Mobile Medical Jamaica, founded by Dr Jade Jeffery and Dr Yendi Buckeridge recently partnered with Food For The Poor to offer free medicals to children from four children’s homes.

The small team of doctors were able to offer their services after receiving donations from the #mobilemedicalchallenge on social media where individuals and organizations pledged to fund medicals for children across the island.

On Saturday, August 15, 74 children from Nest Children’s Home, Elsie Bemand Home for Girls, Annie Dawson Children’s Home and Jamaica National Children’s Home received free medicals on the grounds of the Nest Children’s Home.
