CAC’s preference shares gained 25 per cent to close at 1.00. It was followed by MDS up 20 per cent to $6.92.
FosRich dipped 16 per cent to $3.30.
The JSE Combined Index declined by 3,561.95 points (0.75 per cent) to close at 471,534.15; the JSE Index declined by 3,791.47 points (0.79 per cent) to close at 478,518.62 and the JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 4,132.06 points (0.78 per cent) to close at 525,590.16.
Also on Monday, the JSE Select Index declined by 121.01 points (0.98 per cent) to close at 12,167.91 and the JSE Cross Listed Index declined by 2.08 points (2.27 per cent) to close at 89.54.
The Junior Market Index declined by 7.10 points (0.24 per cent) to close at 2,904.82 and the JSE USD Equities Index declined by 7.02 points (3.08 per cent) to close at 221.13.
The JSE Financial Index also declined, falling by 1.47 points (1.13 per cent) to close at 129.14.
On the other hand, the JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index advanced by 0.04 points (0.04 per cent) to close at 92.03.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 100 stocks of which 28 advanced, 44 declined and 28 traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 0 units valued at over $0.00.
Sagicor Select Funds Limited - Financial was the volume leader with 20,270,564 units followed by Wigton Windfarm Limited Ordinary Shares with 6,079,709 units (infper cent) and Mailpac Group Limited with 1,540,746 units.
