Alleged burglar headed for court in St Ann

Detectives from the St Ann Police Division have charged a man with burglary following an incident which took place in Lime Tree Garden, St Ann on Wednesday, March 18.

Charged is 25-year-old Shakeil Coke, unemployed of Lime Tree Garden in the parish.

Allegations are that about 11.40 pam, occupants of a house woke up and found that a man had gained access to the house.

An alarm was raised and the intruder fled the dwelling.

Coke was subsequently arrested and later charged after being pointed out on an identification parade.

His date for appearing in court is being finalised by the police.
