Pallbearers carry the casket bearing the remains of Raymond Peart, more popularly known as DJ Venom, outside the Boulevard Baptist Church in St Andrew on Saturday.

Relatives, friends and colleagues of Raymond Peart, more popularly known as DJ Venom, gathered at the Boulevard Baptist Church in St Andrew on Saturday to bid farewell to the late Fame FM  disc jockey.

Peart died late November in a traffic accident along the Spanish Town bypass in St Catherine. The crash also claimed the life of 20-year-old University of Technology student, Abigail Rowe.

At the service of thanksgiving for his life, Peart was remembered for his friendly demeanor, dedication to the care of his daughter and, of course, his skills on the turntable.
