One of 5 detainees released in relation to child’s killing in Hanover

One of five men who were taken into police custody for questioning in relation to the death of 11-year-old Trisha Morris of Woodland district in Hanover, has been released.

He was released after being questioned on Thursday.

The police reported that following the discovery of Trisha’s body on Tuesday, April 30, a man was picked up by the Hanover police.

An operation in Haddington district in the parish on Wednesday, May 1, led to the arrest of three other men, and the fifth person turned himself in.

A resident of Woodland found Trisha’s decomposing body in bushes in the community at about midday on April 30. She had been reported missing from Sunday, April 28
