As they say in the theatre business, the show must go on, and that it did.

For the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards, Hollywood’s brightest twinkled from home in this season’s hottest runway numbers and jewels.

While some opted for Zoom-apropos attire, other red carpet regulars dialled up their glam squad to deliver an internet-breaking moment.

Here are some of the evening’s hottest pics that we hope can motivate you to keep it pushing, despite any challenge!

From Jamaican-blooded actor Kerry Washington to Tracee Ellis Ross, and Rock-lover Zendaya to Cynthia Erivo, the actors proved dressing up and showing out is simply a Sunday evening pastime.

For 72 seasons, the awards ceremony has been held in different locations across Los Angeles.

This year, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the academy resorted to a hybrid virtual virtual ceremony for the first time in the history of the awards, which honours the best of 2020 in television.

We are, after all, in the age of technology!
