Fifty-seven-year-old Richard Farquharson of Benbow Street, Kingston 12 was found dead at the harbour in downtown Kingston on Friday, September 25.

Reports from the Central police are that about 6:20 am, the Marine Police were on patrol when they saw a body afloat in the sea.

The body was fished from the water and removed to the morgue, pending a post-mortem examination.

The body was later identified as Farquharson’s.

Investigators suspect that his death may be a case of him having taken his own life.

Investigations continue into the development.
