Mandeville court staff relocated from fire-damaged building
The staff at the Manchester Parish Court in Mandeville have been relocated to James Warehouse Plaza on South Racecourse Road in the parish capital.
The staff, who were relocated over the weekend, on Monday started administrative functions at the new location.
This is while all matters which were scheduled for the Manchester Parish Court in Mandeville, which was recently damaged by an early morning fire, will continue to be heard at the outstations in Porus and Christiana.
The information desk that was set up at the Mandeville Courthouse since November 8, has now been removed.
The Court Management Services, in a release, lauded its staff at Mandeville for the “resilience and the courage they have shown since the fire,” and asked for the continued co-operation and understanding of members of the public as the drive to resume normal operations go forward.
