Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) bigwig, Karl Samuda, believes Jamaicans will get an in-depth look at his Government's plans to uplift the standard of living in the country during the course of the day at the party's 76th National Conference at the National Arena on Sunday.

In an interview with Loop News reporter Job Nelson before the conference officially kicked off, Samuda said it will be the platform for the party to win the next general elections.

"What you are going to hear today is an outline to prosperity, against the background of the tremendous work that we have been doing for the past four years.

"Also, what the people can expect in the next term when we win the next election," Samuda said confidently.

His comments came against the background of roadwork infrastructure that the Government has been working to improve over the last four years, and the upturn of the economy, which the party is promising is set to bloom in the near future.
