Conduent recruiting telebanking agents for its MoBay office
US call-centre operator Conduent Inc. is recruiting locals as telebanking agents at its offices in Montego Bay, St James.
Conduent is a technology-led business process service (BPO) company headquartered in New Jersey. It was formed in 2017 as a divestiture from Xerox, which acquired Jamaican company Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) limited in 2010.
The company has 65,000 employees in more than 40 countries. Its clients include the majority of Fortune 100 companies and over 500 government entities, according to its website.
In its recruitment notice posted on Caribbeanjobs.com, Conduent said it is looking for telebanking customer experience specialists.
Telebanking applicants are advised that they will need to execute routine inbound and outbound call centre activities concerning the business products/services.
Based in Freeport Montego Bay, Conduent offers free transportation to Westmoreland and Falmouth from the Conduent site.
The ad for telebanking staff said, “whether it’s digital payments, claims processing, benefit administration, automated tolling, customer care or distributed learning – Conduent manages and modernizes these interactions to create value for both our clients and their constituents.”
Conduent said it offers benefits including a compensation package of base plus incentive.
Also included are a “convenient onsite clinic with seven-days per week affordable healthcare access; health Insurance benefits; and company paid life insurance coverage.”
Early in 2019, Robert Corbishley, a spokesman for Conduent Inc, said the American company planned to add 75,000 square feet to its facility at Barnett Tech Park in Montego Bay by early 2020.
“The new space could have as many as 2,000 additional seats and training rooms,” Corbishley had said.
