Another $3 reduction in gasoline, diesel prices

Effective Thursday, and for a second consecutive week, motorists will be paying significantly less at the pumps for gasoline and diesel fuel, according to the latest weekly price listings posted by the state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam.

The listing said 87 and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $112.95 and $115.78 per litre, respectively, down by $3.06 each.

At the same time, automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $109.41 per litre, down $3.00, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is also down in price by $3.00, and will be sold for $112.22 per litre.

Meanwhile, users of kerosene will benefit from a $3.00 reduction in the price of the commodity that will be sold for $86.65 per litre this week.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $46.84 per litre, down by $0.80, and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $52.50 per litre, an increase of $0.35.

The marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-ups to the prices from Petrojam.
