The party series is scheduled for Thursday July 28 – Monday August 1. On Thursday, July 28, in what will be a charged Dancehall event, Magnum King Accid and Magnum Queen Clymaxx will join Dancehall stars Popcaan, Bounty Killer, Spice, Elephant Man, Masicka, Ding Dong and Comedienne / Singer Bella Blair on stage in Negril at Cayenne Beach performing to close to 5,000 dancehall fans.

On Friday, title sponsors Magnum Tonic Wine made the announcment via a post on its Facebook page stating, “Annnnd they're back!! @yaniquecurvydiva and @fluffymisskitty will return to the #MKQ9 stage this Saturday April 16, 2016. You don't want to miss it. Tune in to #TVJ @9:30 pm for #MKQ9 .”

Record ratings expected for Magnum show on Saturday

The show is expected to attract record viewership after it got a ratings boost last week with a spat between judge Miss Kitty and hostess Yanique Barrett on live television. The issue dominated conversations on street corners, bars, verandah discussions and social media with fans weighing in on the 'cass-cass'.

Page, who shared a bitter tweet that was directed towards her on Tuesday, April 5, responded by saying: “But see yah! This perverse subculture of throwing dirt at all & sundry because we 'bad & nuh tek chat' SMH.”

The tweet directed to her was from @ReggaeMusicFM which wrote, “Wi nuh care ifa @yaneekpage yanqiue barrett or Yannick from #France. Dont diss di TOP GYAL A ROAD Khadine Hylton #NoBeef #FiletMignon.”

Both women, who are staples of popular television programme Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall, got into a verbal spat live on air last Saturday, much to the chagrin of the thousands who tuned in.

The verbal fisticuffs temporarily halted the show and the stage manager, media personality Sanjay, was even forced to come onstage to instruct Yanique Barrett to continue the show, and discontinue the conversation with Miss Kitty.

“KMDT!!!!!!!! Apology! That’s it after all that senselessness?” asked Janice_Thomas.

Miss Kitty, Yanique ordered to apologise

Loop News understands that the decision was made during a high level meeting on Tuesday - including executive producer Mark Kenny, sponsors and other stakeholders - to determine what action to take against the two self-proclaimed 'divas'.

"Both parties have to apologise on live television this Saturday," a source close to the show's management team told Loop News.

The two media personalities on the show were involved a verbal war of words during a live broadcast last weekend.
