‘Zoo Bug’ reports to police for questioning in Granville girl's murder

A man named as a person of interest in the murder of a 14-year-old girl, in Granville, St James over the weekend, has turned himself over to the police.

He's Owen Allen, otherwise called ‘Zoo Bug’, of Brown’s Lane, Granville.

An appeal was made for Allen to turn himself over to the police after the body of Tianna Clarke, 14, a student of Granville, was found in an unfinished building in the community on Saturday.

Reports are that about 8:30 am, the body of the child was found by a resident in a building in the Brown’s Lane section of Granville.

Sources report that the child was found with wounds to her face, and there have been indications that she was partially nude. Hours after the discovery, Allen reported to the Freeport Police.

He is to be questioned in the presence of his attorney.
