Yummy Bakery brings early Christmas cheer to Walkers Place of Safety

Yummy Bakery, a subsidiary of Baking Enterprises Limited, brought early Christmas cheer to children at the Walkers Place of Safety in Kingston and Widow’s Mite Children’s Home in St. Ann recently when they hosted Christmas treats for the children and handed over much needed appliances and food items to the homes.
Walkers Place of Safety, which is home to 40 children between 2 and 18 years old, received a washing machine, kitchen utensils and toiletries.
Widow’s Mite Children’s Home received food items, a microwave, iron and iron boards. All the children in both homes received individual Christmas gifts to put a smile on their faces.
Widow’s Mite is home to 20 abandoned children with physical and/or mental disability.
