Gary Subratie capped a fine day at Caymamas Park on Thursday, landing the Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes with WOW WOW and returning to complete a two-timer, in the eighth event with three-year-old SENTIENT.

Partnered by Panamanian, Ameth Robles, WOW WOW took control of the Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes three furlongs out to easily win by two lengths, his eighth straight victory from nine starts, clocking 1:38.0 for a mile.

Subratie's runner, who became the second horse to sweep the SVL Two-Year-Old Series, earning a $1m bonus which pushed owner Michros' earnings from the event in excess of $3.3m, the $2.1m winner's purse and NIPSTER's fourth-place finish, for the winning owner.

Michros, which started the afternoon trailing leading owner, Carlton Watson, by approximately $1.1m, grabbed what will be an unassailable lead ahead of Saturday's season-closing meet.

SENTIENT, champion-jockey designate, apprentice Christopher Mamdeen's second winner on the nine-race card, pushed his tally to 95 wins, 15 clear of Omar Walker.

Mamdeen had earlier won aboard 5-1 shot, NUCLEAR THUNDER, in the fifth event.

Another apprentice, Raddesh Roman, as well as outgoing champion jockey, Anthony Thomas, also rode two winners.

Thomas opened the programme with 6-5 favourite, MONEY CALL, and returned to made all with DALLAS, at odds of 7-1 in the fifth.

Roman booted home 5-1 chance, GENERAL REPORT, in the seventh, and SWEET SURPRISE, at odds of 2-1, in the ninth.
