WILD, WILD WESTMORELAND: three murders there in one hour!

Three men were shot and killed in three separate incidents during a one-hour period on Saturday in Westmoreland.
The deceased, all of addresses in the parish, have been identified as: 41-year-old farmer, Pete Campbell of Truro; 32-year-old Ian Fletcher of Darliston, and 25-year-old Ricardo Poiser of Whitehall in the Negril area.
The first of the three killings took place at about 7:30 p.m. when Fletcher, who was at home in Darliston along with his family, responded to knocking on his door.
He was shot and killed by yet unknown assailants as he opened the door.
In the second incident, about 8:20 p.m., Campbell, who was at a wake in his community, went to buy chicken in, when he was pounced upon and shot dead by two gunmen who rode up on a motorcycle.
Ten minutes later, gunmen crept up on a group of men playing dominoes at a shop in Whitehall and opened fire, hitting Poiser, who was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No motive has yet been established any of the three attacks.
The Westmoreland police are investigating the murders.
