Jamaican-born George Crooks, founder and chief executive officer of the Brooklyn-based Jammins Entertainment, has been among the leading show promoters in New York's West Indian community for decades.

Among the the events Crooks has promoted over the years are the Soul Legend Concert series, the Brooklyn Music Festival, the New York Music Festival, and the Beres Hammond Tour.
