I love this time of the year, when we reflect on the past and set goals for ourselves. It’s great to be on a continual path, always seeking self-improvement; improving daily habits and routines. So let’s open this year together with the great habit of getting into the kitchen and preparing more homemade meals.
We wrote 'A Taste of Open' to encourage just this. We want to entice you into eating more real foods, nourishing foods for you and your family and friends. With this cookbook, we seek to inspire you to get back into the kitchen to make real food and to enjoy the process as well as the outcome.

The recipes we have written for you are highly plant-based because we believe people do not eat enough vegetables. But they are not vegetarian. So you get more veggies in without giving up many of the other things you love to eat.
If you are vegetarian or vegan, they are also adaptable to fit your needs. The recipes are simple, tasty, good for you and designed to get you in and out of the kitchen in no time.
The ingredients are easily accessible in Jamaica and add taste texture and quality nutrition to help fuel your body to its full potential.
