WATCH: Tech Beach has 'new dawn for the Caribbean' at its core

The countdown is on to November 29 when some of the biggest names in tech will converge on Montego Bay for the now annual Tech Beach summit.

Representatives from global heavyweights like Facebook, Google, Air BnB, LinkedIn and YouTube will be among "the best in the world" helping persons from across the region connect with the age of technology.

But it's not the big names, as impressive as they are, that sum up the unique nature of Tech Beach.

It's the fact that there's no hierarchy and no separation of VIP speakers from the audience there to listen and learn.

And it's this intimacy that event co-founder Kirk Anthony Hamilton says gives attendees access to "advice that you could hardly ever pay for".

He told Loop News: "We're aiming to build out a completely new global business ecosystem for the region built on the pillars of tech, innovation and entrepreneurship."

One of the highlights of the summit will be the Facebook workshop on Saturday morning, sponsored by Trend Media, which will see a team of four from the social media giant discuss Facebook and Instagram insights. Tech Beach takes place at the Iberostar All Inclusive Hotel in Montego Bay from Thursday November 29 to Saturday December 1.

And there are still tickets available so visit techbeach.net for more information.
