WATCH: Psychosocial support for parents amid COVID-19

Thirty-six persons have been trained as mentors to remotely provide psychosocial first aid to parents during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The training was provided by the National Parenting Support Commission (NPSC) through a partnership with VMBS Foundation, UNICEF and Fight for Peace.

Chief Executive Officer of the NPSC, Kaysia Kerr says the mentors will provide parents, who may be frustrated and anxious, with localised information and support amid the coronavirus pandemic. Watch the video below.
