Firefighters rescued a man after he was pinned inside his vehicle following a car crash along Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston on Friday morning.

Reports are that the man was driving his white sedan motor car from downtown Kingston, when he allegedly attempted to make a u-turn at a stoplight.

However, while the vehicle was turning, a car coming from Portmore reportedly slammed into its side and left the driver pinned among the wreck.

Firefighters were quick on the scene and worked diligently to save the driver. Within several minutes, the crew removed the man from the wreck and had him rushed to hospital.

His condition is not known at this time. Watch a clip of the rescue effort below.
