WATCH: Jamaicans unwilling to endorse four-day Tests plan
The International Cricket Conference (ICC) is proposing that the playing time of Test matches be officially changed from five days to four.
The ICC's cricket committee is set to discuss the four-day Test proposal in March despite growing criticism from the world's leading players including Jamaica and West Indies opener Chris Gayle and India captain Virat Kohli.
Former India captain Anil Kumble, who heads the cricket committee of the sport's governing body, said the proposal will be discussed in the next round of the ICC meetings, to held in Dubai from March 27-31.
Loop News went to two famous cricket venues in Jamaica - Melbourne Oval and Lucas Cricket Club - and got the views on whether they support the proposal of the ICC.
