WATCH: Holness addresses opening session of China International Expo

Prime Minister Andrew Holness arrived in Shanghai on Sunday for an eight-day, official working visit to the People’s Republic of China. It is the prime minister's first official working visit to the far eastern country.

During his visit, Holness will tour one of the world’s largest exposition along with President Xi Jingping and Jamaica’s Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Audley Shaw.

Holness' trip will take him to four key cities in China - Shanghai, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Beijing.

The official working visit is highlighted by bilateral discussions with President Xi, municipal leaders, other public and private sector officials, investors, and the members of the Jamaican community in China.
