The Police High Command has launched a probe into videos circulating online which depict a number of breaches allegedly at a nine-night in rural St Andrew over the weekend.

In one of the videos obtained by Loop News, a man is seen performing stunts on a motorcycle for a packed audience in defiance of COVID-19 protocols. The video also shows a man discharging what appears to be a firearm multiple times in an apparent 'gun salute' in response to the 'entertainment'.

Watch the video below:

Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson has ordered the force’s Criminal Investigations Branch and the Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau to commence "an immediate joint investigation" into the videos, stated a release from the force's corporate communications unit on Monday.

The release cites "several breaches of various acts" being depicted in the video, including the Firearms, the Disaster Risk Management and the Noise Abatement acts.

Loop News was informed that the nine night was held to mark the passing of a policeman in a motorcycle crash last week.
