Perhaps most noted for her breakthrough collaboration with the Grammy-nominated Devin Di Dakta on the chart-topping ‘Rev out di RR’ track, Renee Elizabeth Reid, with the stage name ‘RRE’, has also worked with other mainstream artistes, including Stonebwoy, Sizzla, Colton T and Mavado.

Having recently ventured into reggaeton with the single ‘LOCO’, featuring Maldonado, RRE’s sassy style and sound have combined to spark the interest of many music listeners who have simply been asking, just who is ‘RRE’?

Born and raised in Kingston, she attended Queens Preparatory School then The Queens School. She then pursued tertiary education at the University of Technology (UTech).

From an early fancy for working on airplanes as a flight attendant, or in sales management with a global entity, she has, however, been unable to shake off her deep desire to become a star, musically.

‘What’s Up’ shares some of her story and perspectives with you in the video below, which was edited by Ramon Lindsay.
