Bottled-water brand Wata recently kicked off a summer campaign, distributing thousands of the product to help ease the effect of the heat and drought conditions on Jamaicans.

The manufacturers of Wata, Wisynco, said it is taking a proactive measure to help prepare households in vulnerable communities with the essential product.

The plan is to distribute one case of Wata to households in different areas up until August 30.

While doing this, Wisynco has also sought to help build a culture of recycling among Jamaicans.

Check out our Beyond Profit video edited by Richard Baker highlights of a recent distribution in Red Hills, St Andrew.
