Residents of Tivoli Gardens in West Kingston are remembering late Prime Minister Edward Seaga for his sterling contribution to the community.

Seaga died Tuesday on his 89th birthday.

Among his lasting legacies is his transformation of ‘Back-o-Wall’ or ‘Dungle’ into Tivoli Gardens via a raft of construction projects, creating a modern community complete with, among other amenities, a maternity clinic and a community centre.

The people of West Kingston, where he was Member of Parliament for 43 years, are eternally grateful.

On Tuesday, after news of his death broke, residents spoke with Loop News about how they will remember the man affectionately known as 'Papa Eddie'. Watch the video below.
