VIDEO: Students ready for Rita Marley Public Speaking Competition

The Rita Marley Foundation’s Public Speaking competition will be held on February 16 at the Main Library at University of the West Indies, with 11 high schools in Jamaica hunting the top prize.

Already, the participants are training hard, each hoping that they can outdo their rivals to bring glory to themselves and their particular school.

The organisers are expecting a fierce battle with the hope that the competition will help the students to develop and grow their skills and confidence in public speaking.

Loop Jamaica’s reporter Job Nelson had a chat with manager of the Rita Marley Foundation, Rosemary Duncan, as well as some of the students who are expected to participate in the Rita Public Speaking Competition.
