VIDEO: 'Smooth start to PEP'

Acting Education Minister Karl Samuda speaks with students of Tulloch Primary in St Catherine ahead of their sitting of PEP on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Information is reporting a smooth start to the Primary Exit Profile (PEP), which began on Tuesday with the Ability Test.

Minister with Responsibility for Education, Youth and Information, Karl Samuda, who visited Tulloch Primary in St Catherine on Tuesday as the students prepared to sit PEP, said he is pleased with the level of preparation which went into administering the exam. Watch the video below.



Just over 39,000 students are registered to sit the exams this year. The second component, the Grade 6 Performance Tasks will take place on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20. The Curriculum Based Tests are set for Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24, 2020.
