The police say they have stepped up their investigation into the killing of businessman and music promoter, Owen Clarke, popularly known as ‘Roy Fowl’ or ‘Father Fowl'.

The 61-year-old victim was shot and killed in Kencot, St Andrew late on Friday night.

Reports are that he was about to leave a party that was being held on Grove Road near Half-Way Tree, when he was attacked by men who sources said were travelling on motorcycles.

The men reportedly shot Clarke then fled the scene.

More than 24 hours after the incident, police say they have stepped up their probe and are searching for the attackers following the killing that has drawn much attention, especially among persons from the music fraternity.

Video footage has also been circulating on social media showing Clarke just minutes before his death, standing with friends and watching a group of people enjoying themselves.

The high-flying victim, who has had somewhat of a checkered past, is seen in the video calmly socialising in what was clearly a community event, something which he had become widely associated with.
