Olivia Lindsay is seeking to revolutionise the local taxi industry with her startup, 876 on the Go 24/7 Limited.

The Transportation and Logistics company offers an easy to download app, which enables the commuting public to book a taxi, make payments and live-track passengers and packages.

The company, which officially launched last September, was endorsed by Transport and Works Minister, Robert Montague.

Indeed, the legislator saw 876 on the Go as a model service in the local public transport market.

The 876 on the Go taxis are driven by courteous, well-attired drivers and include an in-cab tablet, WI-FI and a bottle of purified water for each passenger.

All trips are confirmed electronically with a photo of the assigned driver, the vehicle licence plate information along with his/her telephone contact details.

It’s been four months since the official launch, and Lindsay is reporting a growing interest from the public.

“The feedback has been tremendous, we have seen growth in the number of downloads for the app, and we have been getting positive reviews from passengers who use our service,” Lindsay said, noting that parents rely on the service for its security and convenience.
