VIDEO: 'Love ya mummy!' - Jamaicans tell moms thanks

Mothers are special as they give us life, nurture us, and support us as we grow while providing valuable lessons.

The caring mother will play multiple roles in their children’s lives, as they are often called upon to be make-belief doctors, lawyers, teachers and even police on a constant basis.

And so, Sunday, many countries around the world, including Jamaica, celebrate Mother’s Day to recognise how special moms are.

Many Jamaicans will be using the opportunity to spoil their mothers silly, by either doing most if not all the housework or giving them presents or doing both.

Watch the video, as Loop News reporter Job Nelson and videographer Marlon Reid took to the streets of Half-Way-Tree in St Andrew and allowed people to give a special shout-out to their mother.
