Video: Kennado Nesbeth follows blueprint for his construction company

Too young to enrol in the University of Technology in Kingston after graduating high school, Kennado Nesbeth opted to work in his uncle’s auto-parts shop in Montego Bay to not just help out, but to learn how to operate a business.

Today, the 29-year-old past student of the Herbert Morrison Technical High is the Managing Director of KNN Designs and Construction Limited, a business he started after leaving his job as project manager at the Urban Development Corporation.

KNN specialises in commercial and residential projects - focusing on remodelling, renovation, and construction services.

Nesbeth said he always wanted to do architecture. He said he had set out an objective to only work with a company for five years and then venture off on his own.

“I left the UDC after exactly four years and four months. I’d like to think it was a part of my destiny,” he said.

Learn more about Nesbeth’s journey in the video edited by Richard Baker.
