Digicel Foundation hosted its annual 5k Run/Walk for Special Needs last Saturday.
It was a fun-filled affair that saw more than 10,000 patrons turn out for a good cause, with proceeds from the event going toward five special needs beneficiaries including the Jamaica Autism Support Association (JASA), Early Stimulation Program (ESP), Jamaica Association on Intellectual Disabilities (JAID), Jamaica Down’s Syndrome Foundation (JDSF) and Mustard Seed Communities.
After the race, which began at the Digicel headquarters in downtown Kingston, patrons were thoroughly entertained by the likes of Miss Kitty, Beenie Man and Prodigal Son.
