VIDEO: Central Clarendon education grant recipients say ‘thanks’

Sixty-two tertiary-level students from Central Clarendon have benefited from tuition support totalling approximately $2.7 million from Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency and Minister without Portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), Mike Henry.

The presentations were made at a reception last Sunday at West Park Community Centre in May Pen, Clarendon.

The occasion was also used to celebrate the recent conferment of the Order of Jamaica (OJ) on Henry.

Central Clarendon education grants

In his address at the function, the MP commended the students on their educational pursuits and achievements, and encouraged them to continue to do well.

He pledged his commitment to the development of the constituency and the wider parish, citing a number of projects that are being undertaken in this regard.
