A number of rising and established musicians performed at the Bob Marley Museum on Tuesday to celebrate The Gong’s 73rd birthday anniversary.

Bob Marley's residence at the time of his passing in 1981 was filled with spectators from early in the morning, as they came from all over the world to hail the reggae icon.

The activities reached fever pitch in the evening, when most of the acts took to the stage for the jam session.

The venue was at capacity, with thousands gathering in a tight squeeze, taking in the performances on stage as well as that of Bob’s children and grandchildren, who joined the proceeding via a live stream from Miami.

Loop’s videographer Marlon Reid was at the venue and captured these highlights from some of the performances on stage.
