Veteran reggae singer Cocoa Tea has described as "exceptionally talented" up-and-coming recording artiste Koffee, and has advised Jamaicans to take notice of the teen musician.

Mikayla 'Koffee' Simpson, 17, a past student of Ardenne High School, made an impressionable mark in her Rebel Salute debut last weekend after being introduced on stage by Cocoa Tea.

Showcasing lyrical firepower, delivery and confidence beyond her tender age, Koffee's short performance attracted thunderous cheers of approval from the thousands at Grizzly's Plantation Cove.
