Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records Ocho Rios opens to grand fanfare

Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records’ opening this evening saw many high-profile personalities of the area descending upon the 101b Main Street location in St Ann.

Speaking at the opening, KLE director Gary Matalon said that Usain Bolt, the triple gold medal winner at the recently-concluded Rio Olympic Games, had stuck by the group since 2008.

Matalon also said that many international franchises have come into Jamaica, but that Tracks and Records was uniquely Jamaican.

In attendance was Shaggy, Tina Malaton, Minister of Tourism Ed Bartlett, Minister of Sport and Culture Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grange, Kevin Burke, Barbara Ellington, ‘Ducksie’ Russell, Franklin McKnight, Tess Maria Leon, Delano Seiveright, Tanya Blake and Garth Walker.

Track and Records Ocho Rios is expected to attract a large cruise ship crowd and patrons from the Ocho Rios environs.

It is the second restaurant in the T&R franchise with the first being located in Marketplace, St Andrew.
